For makers
WMWRK is a place to watch artists and craftspeople work.
Work how you normally work.
People can watch.

We’re starting small
We’re not building an open marketplace where anyone can upload anything.
We want working artists, craftspeople and makers whose process is worth spending time with.
If you make things by hand, we’d like to hear from you.
Jewellers
Potters
Painters
Weavers
Smiths
Woodworkers
What we’re building
WMWRK is built around something simple. You’re already doing the interesting part. The camera just lets someone else be there for it.
You can talk if you want to. Teach if that’s your thing. Answer questions. Or say nothing and work.
How you film
Whatever lets you work without thinking about the filming. We’re testing different setups with makers now. The goal is simple: turn it on and forget about it.
A phone on the bench
What you already have.
A fixed camera
Set it and leave it.
A head camera
If your hands need to move.
Glasses
If that is how you work.

The work
Over time, WMWRK will connect the hours of making with the things that come out of them.
For sale
A finished object might be for sale.
Commission
Someone might ask for a commission.
Watch
Or they might simply spend an hour watching you work.
We’re still testing what belongs here.
Early access
WMWRK is very early. We’re speaking with makers now and inviting a small number into our first tests and public weekends.
You don’t need to commit to anything. Register your interest and tell us what you make. We’ll get in touch as WMWRK opens up.
Already spoken with us? You’re on our radar.
Not everyone will be a fit.
That’s intentional.
We want WMWRK to remain a place where the work, the skill and the person making it matter. We’ll grow carefully.
